The Monster:

The legacy of the Bear Lake Monster spans more than a century, with its origins dating back to the 19th century and rooted in Native American Legends. In the late 1800s, John C. Rich penned numerous articles about the creature, later asserting that they were in jest. Many sightings have happened over the years with the most recent in 2002. In 1996, the Bear Lake monster was given the name 'Isabella' from a local school competition. Stay at Bear Lake Monster House, the only house in Bear Lake that features the Bear Lake monster!
